TUITION

I have been teaching since I was 18 years old, and nothing equals the pleasure of seeing my students achieve their ambitions, be that to play for their own pleasure, to work through their grades or even to take up music as a career. I believe that learning should be fun, and that it’s never too late to start. Many say that, if you don’t learn as a child, you will never catch up. But adults make great pupils too! They are learning because they want to, and they have developed self-discipline and problem-solving skills they would not have possessed as a little one. So whether you’re nine or ninety-nine, have a go and enjoy yourself!

I like to equip my students with all-round skills: playing by ear, playing by music, understanding theory (which can be as enjoyable and rewarding as any computer game) and even composing their own tunes. You will find elements of all these in my tuition materials, which come in the form of books, talking books and one-to-one Zoom sessions, plus A SPECIAL COURSE FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED LEARNERS.
